ApneaLinkTM Screenings Now Offered
Prevea Health and the Regional Sleep Disorders Center at St. Vincent Hospital are now offering at-home sleep apnea screening using the ApneaLinkTM device—a recording device that detects the likelihood of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Screenings are available for free to anyone over the age of 16.

The ApneaLinkTM device is a small recorder secured by a strap around the chest overnight. There is an airflow sensor that rests outside the nose and an oxygen sensor that is worn on the finger tip.
After recording, the information is downloaded and reviewed by one of Prevea's board certified sleep physicians. |
Copies of the report along with physician recommendations are sent to the patient in the mail. All results are confidential and will not be entered into your medical record, unless you so request.
